Group Entrance Fees To The State Rooms At Buckingham Palace
Buckingham Palace has served as the official London residence of Britain’s sovereigns since 1837.
It evolved from a town house that was owned from the beginning of the eighteenth century by the Dukes of Buckingham.
Buckingham Palace serves as both the office and London residence of His Majesty The King, as well as the administrative headquarters of the Royal Household. It is one of the few working royal palaces remaining in the world today.
Today the State Rooms are used extensively by The King and Members of the Royal Family to receive and entertain their guests on State, ceremonial and official occasions.
It is possible to explore the magnificent State Rooms which are open to visitors for 10 weeks each summer and on selected dates for Exclusive Guided Tours during winter and spring.
The State Rooms form the heart of the working palace and are lavishly furnished with some of the greatest treasures from the Royal Collection – paintings by Rembrandt, Rubens, Poussin and Canaletto; sculpture by Canova; exquisite examples of Sèvres porcelain; and some of the finest English and French furniture.
Visits to Buckingham Palace can be combined with visits to The Queen’s Gallery & The nearby Royal Mews.
