Freys is one of Stockholm’s oldest brands, with a rich history speckled with exciting events and fascinating stories. The Freys name comes from the wise, powerful horse Frey, who won the highly acclaimed, 320-kilometre endurance race between Stockholm and Jönköping in 1895.
At the end of the 19th century, Freys was a horse-and-carriage company for wealthy Stockholmers. In modern times, the company has flourished and now owns two family-run hotels in central Stockholm. They also have real estate, a travel agency, a restaurant and limousine services.

The double/twin rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay including a comfy double bed (160 cm) or twin beds (2×90 cm), a small wardrobe, desk, minibar, and kettle with tea and coffee.
SUPERIOR ROOM
The superior rooms are individually designed and offer a high level of comfort on the sixth and seventh floors. They include a comfortable bed, a seating group with at least one armchair, desk, bath robe, slippers, minibar, microwave, iron and ironing board, and a kettle with tea and coffee – and this is just a selection.
CONFERENCE ROOMS
The charming conference department at Freys Hotel offers nine unique conference rooms, and no two are the same. The rooms are designed to suit your agenda. They offer a place to work undisturbed, whether there are two or 50 of you. You can rent the entire 220 square metre conference floor for up to 150 people.
