Land Rover Experience Scotland can offer a range of exciting, fun, tailor-made vehicle-based activities, all in brand new, top of the range vehicles which can include off-road driving trips up into the private estates of Highland Perthshire to see some of the most stunning scenery and wildlife in Scotland. And even better – the guests do the driving! Their routes pass Outlander film locations, and Dunkeld was the holiday home of Beatrix Potter.
Half Day Driving Experience
HALF DAY LAND ROVER EXPERIENCE
Duration: 3 hours
Guests arrive at their Welcome Centre overlooking the beautiful Butterstone Loch, near Dunkeld in Perthshire. After meeting their instructor, they drive the short distance to our off-road centre, where the fun begins! The guests get to tackle a range of obstacles including side slopes, driving through water, balancing the car on two wheels, steep forest tracks and negotiating rocky terrain.
It’s challenging, but great fun! Up to 3 people can share the driving, and it’s good fun for the passengers too. They may spot our herd of resident deer, catch sight of red squirrels or see majestic birds of prey. At the end of the Experience, it’s back to Butterstone Loch for a coffee and certificate presentation. Throughout the Experience, the guests do the driving, guided by their instructor.

NOTES:
A full driving license (any nationality) is required for each guest who will be sharing the driving.
Drivers under the age of 25 cannot do the short road drive but can do the off-road driving as long as they have a full driving license.
If your license was issued outside of the UK or EU then please notify them prior to participating in the Experience so they can determine whether you may still participate.
For groups of 15 and under we will require you to bring your Photocard license (or old-style paper license) with you.
