The Inch or Inchnacardoch House has been here for over 150 years, formerly a hunting lodge, and then a base for the RAF during World War 2, finding its current vocation in the 1950s. Located in an iconic spot, above picturesque Inchnacardoch Bay, the hotel provides some of the very best accommodation on Loch Ness, only a 45 minute drive from both Inverness, the capital of the Highlands on the East Coast and also Fort William on the West Coast which is regarded as the Outdoor Capital of Britain. Further afield Kyle of Lochalsh and the Isle of Skye can be reached within a few short hours, as can the Cairngorms National Park.
All rooms have been tastefully decorated and well-appointed to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay. Many of the rooms have stunning views overlooking Loch Ness, including our Four Poster Double which is just perfect for that romantic weekend in the Highlands! All the en-suite rooms come complete with free WiFi, telephones, hair-dryers, tea and coffee making facilities and flat-screen TVs.
Dining is a real pleasure at The Inch Hotel Loch Ness. The restaurant has some of the best views of Loch Ness in the house and serves a superb Scottish menu using locally sourced produce that is prepared fresh every day. A relaxing bar and lounge with an open log fire is available for the guests, and offers over 30 malt whiskies to choose from.
For the more active amongst our guests, a number of stunning walks are also available, that start right outside the front door, and the friendly and knowledgeable staff will be happy to advise on the wealth of local activities in the area.
