Welcome to the Islander Hand Bag workshop, right in the heart of Edinburgh. Within your session you will create your very own Islander Harris Tweed® Handbag by selecting the body colour of the bag, choose your favourite Harris Tweed® cloth, bag strap and accessories. Be as creative or safe as you want! Once you have selected your different components, you will begin to construct your bag with a set of tools all ready for you.
After your bag is finished, we encourage you to show off your recreation outside under our Islander Floral entrance and share with the world, your very own Made In Scotland Islander Harris Tweed Hand Bag! The workshop class will last for approx 60 minutes.
Minimum age we recommend to be 12 years old.
Please arrive 10 minutes before your class start time to ensure you are ready and seated for class beginning.

MINI SATCHEL WORKSHOP EXPERIENCE
Duration: 1.5 hours or 1 hour (according to the location)
During your workshop, you’ll design and build your very own Islander handbag or backpack. Choose your preferred bag style, select a body colour, then pair it with your favourite Harris Tweed® or Lochcarron® tartan lid, strap, and accessories. Whether you go bold or keep it classic, the design is entirely yours.
Once your components are selected, you’ll be guided through assembling your bag using a full set of tools prepared for you. No previous experience is needed, just curiosity and creativity.
When your bag is complete, they invite you to step outside the workshop and show off your creation. Don’t forget to share your Made in Scotland Islander bag, crafted using Scotland’s finest textiles.
