Good Day Out engages people with the countryside in quiet scenic locations.
All their experiences are held safely in small groups, but private sessions are also available.
Based in Bannau Brycheiniog, the Brecon Beacons in Wales, each experience also gives money to good causes while you have fun on your day out on a piggy walk, sheepdog herding experience, or a stroll across the Beacons with dinky donkeys. You can have a good day out whilst doing good! Whilst children are welcome, most of our visitors are adults who just love animals and the outdoors.
Entrance Fees
Spend quality time with experienced dog trainer Ross Games, who competes internationally at sheep herding competitions and breeds collies that sell all around the world.
Ross will demonstrate with his more experienced dogs (who will only respond to him) and then have a go with one of his dogs in training. You will be in a scenic quiet field within the Bannau Brycheiniog / Brecon Beacons National Park.
Ross is a friendly low-key trainer which makes the experience not only interesting and fun but you will learn all about his life shepherding on a traditional Welsh hill farm.
