The Lake District tour from Manchester
This tour gives you a day in the Lake District National Park, from Manchester. It’s an ideal way to see amazing landscape associated with this stunning National Park and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Leaving Manchester the tour heads North to the Lake District via the M6 Motorway, in approximately two hours you will arrive in the Lake District.
As you start your Lake District tour, you will visit the medieval village of Hawkshead, famous for its connection with Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth.
Onwards then, to the renowned beauty spot of Tarn Hows, which is one of the most photographed locations in the Lake District. Soak up the stunning views looking towards the mountains at Tarn Hows. Your Lake District day tour would also not be complete without a cruise on one of the famous lakes. You can sit back and enjoy the unrivalled views of the lake and the fell ranges beyond!
As your Lake District tour comes to an end, we will then continue our journey back to Manchester.
